How Our Podcasting Creators Our Services to Build Something Real

There is no single blueprint for building a creator business. Here is how three of our clients proved that.

How Our Podcasting Creators Our Services to Build Something Real

One of the questions we get asked most often is what creator funding actually looks like in practice. Not in theory, not in a pitch deck, but in real life. What does it enable? What does it change? And what can a creator do with the right financial backing behind them that they simply could not do without it?.

The honest answer is that it looks different for everyone. The way a creator earns, builds and grows is unique to them, and the funding behind them should reflect that. Here are three of our clients and what they have been able to build.

Ant and Dec: Launching Belta Box

Ant and Dec need no introduction. Two of the most recognisable faces in British television, their careers have spanned decades and their audience loyalty is unlike almost anything else in UK entertainment. But even for talent at their level, launching a new digital format from scratch requires real investment.

Belta Box, their visual and audio podcast, was a significant undertaking from day one. Hiring a production team, building a set and putting the right resources in place to ensure the format launched at the level it deserved all required upfront capital. That is where Viewture came in.

We knew from the moment we heard the concept that it was going to resonate. With some of the UK's most loved celebrity faces passing through and Ant and Dec's natural chemistry at the heart of it, Belta Box had everything it needed to thrive. The funding meant they could make sure the execution matched the ambition from the very first episode, without having to compromise on what they had envisioned.

Ian Bick: Locked In

Ian Bick's Locked In podcast exists to give people who have been involved in the prison system a voice. Whether they have learned and changed, been wrongfully convicted, or have a story that has never been told publicly, Ian creates a space for those conversations to happen honestly and without judgment. He has his own story to tell too, and that personal connection is at the heart of what makes the podcast so compelling. A key factor is giving people a platform when they don't have one.

Ian came to Viewture with a clear vision. He wanted an in-house team, a fully kitted out studio, and the infrastructure to produce content consistently and at a high standard. Building that from scratch is not cheap, and waiting until the revenue was there to fund it organically would have slowed everything down significantly.

With Viewture's backing Ian was able to build exactly what he had in mind from the start. The results speak for themselves. Locked In has found a genuinely engaged audience, and Ian's profile has grown significantly, including a feature in a Mr Beast video, one of the most watched YouTube channels on the planet. It is a brilliant example of what happens when a creator with a strong concept gets the right support behind them early.

ShxtsnGigs: Unlocking Hidden Revenue

Shxtsngigs work with Viewture through our digital rights management service, which is a slightly different story to the others but just as impactful.

As one of the most popular podcast formats in the UK, their content gets reposted constantly across YouTube by third party accounts. Without the right infrastructure in place that content generates views and revenue for everyone except the creators who made it. Our DRM service identifies those accounts, reclaims the content and redirects that revenue back to ShxtsnGiggs.

What makes this particularly powerful is that it requires nothing additional from them. No extra filming, no extra editing, no extra time. It is existing content that was already out there, now working harder for the people who created it. That additional revenue stream feeds directly back into the things that matter, guest stars, production, set design, tours and everything else that keeps a channel growing.

What These Three Have in Common

Three very different creators, three very different use cases. But the thread running through all of them is the same. Each of them had a clear vision, a strong concept and the talent to make it work. What they needed was the financial foundation to bring it to life at the level it deserved.

That is what Viewture is here for. Whether it is upfront funding for a new format, investment in production infrastructure, or unlocking revenue that is already being generated but not reaching the right hands, we work around what each creator actually needs.
